The truck rack itself has a static weight capacity of over 750 lbs, which means you can use any rooftop tent, mount, and carry pretty much gears, accessories, or anything you can imagine. Using this rack will minimize the aerodynamic drag normally associated with the roof-top tent by keeping it largely below the roof-line.
One of the goods things about this bed rack is that it maintains very good visibility through the back window despite the low overall rack height. Thanks to the low center of gravity and height, anything you mount will still remain below the cab roof, decreasing the wind resistance and hence having less of a fuel impact.
Important Notes
- If you want to add a bit of extra height to your rack, you can do one of the Riser Kits we have available. You can choose from 1 inch to 2 inches extra.
- If you select no mounting options, you'll have to drill the bed of your truck and then bolt the rack to it.
- C-Clamps might not be compatible with all toneau covers, please check with our team in case you have a tonneau cover on your truck,

Pro-Tip:
- This rack has been unofficially tested in-house to support as much as 1500lbs static load but depending on factors such as bed width, truck model, ect. we recommend approximately 750lbs as a benchmark for static capacity (weight on the rack when parked / sleeping in tent etc). This is simply a guideline, as always use your best judgement on safety when heavily loading the rack.
